Do I need experience to ride a quad?
No. Before setting off we run a practical briefing and the guide stays with the group throughout. The tour is suitable for beginners too.
Is the price per person or per quad?
The price is per quad. Each two-seater Anther A500 carries up to two people: rider and passenger.
Do I need a driving licence? What is the minimum age?
A category B driving licence is required to ride: minimum age 18 for the rider and 5 for the passenger. Pregnant women and people with certain medical conditions cannot take part (a waiver is signed).
How long does the tour last?
An hour and 45 minutes in total: a 10-minute briefing with the guide and an hour and 35 minutes riding the trails of South Etna.
What is included in the price?
Certified guide, helmet, balaclava and insurance. Meals, tastings and other activities are not included.
What should I bring and wear?
Closed shoes and comfortable clothing suited to the altitude. Helmet and required equipment are provided by us.
Where do tours start from?
From Piazzale Rifugio Sapienza, South Etna — 95030 Nicolosi (CT). Please arrive a few minutes early for the briefing.
Do tours run in bad weather?
We operate all year round. In adverse conditions we move the tour to another date or issue a voucher valid for one year.
Can I give the experience as a gift?
Yes. You can buy a gift voucher: the recipient books whenever they like by entering the code.
